Osvaldo: My dream is to join Boca Juniors

The Buenos Aires-born attacker has revealed that he would like to continue his career at La Bombonera with the club he supported as a child

Pablo Daniel Osvaldo has confirmed that he hopes to seal a "dream" move to Boca Juniors after being deemed surplus to requirements at Inter.

The Southampton-owned striker is still on loan to the Nerazzurri but, after a recent suspension for missing training last month, the 29-year-old has now been told he has no future at San Siro.

Consequently, the former Huracan forward is now desperate to seal a return to Argentina with the club he supported as a child, Boca.

"Argentina? I woud certainly like to return," the Buenos Aires-born attacker told Tyc Sport. "I have never played in the Primera Division. I especially missed playing at the highest level with Huracan.

"But my real dream, which I've had since I was a child, is to play for Boca Juniors."

Boca president Daniel Angelici has already admitted the club are interested in signing Osvaldo, but hinted that the player will have to accept a wage cut in order to seal a swith to La Bombonera.
