Man Utd transfer news and rumours: Angel di Maria will reject PSG and fight to …

"It is true things have not gone as he would have liked so far, but he is determined to make it work at United."

River Plate are keen to sign Radamel Falcao, but admit a deal is complicated, reports The Daily Mail.

The Colombia forward spent eight years with the Argentine side before leaving for Porto in 2009 and River Plate are open to Falcao returning.

During an interview with Esto es River program, vice-president Matias Patanian said: "We dream of Falcao Garcia. The doors are open."

The Mail also claims Wolfsburg are showing an interest in Javier Hernandez.

The Mexico international has endured a frustrating season on loan at Real Madrid and spoke this week about how, at times, his confidence has been "left in tatters".

Southampton, Lazio, Stoke City and West Ham are also interested in signing him in the summer but the prospect of Champions League football could prove tempting.

Hernandez, apparently, could be bought for around £8m as he has just one year remaining on his United contract.

United, meanwhile, are understood to have made a revised contract offer to Andreas Pereira.

PSG, Juventus, PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord have all seemingly made contact with the teenage midfielder's father, Marcos, after the 19-year-old rejected United's opening offer. Pereira is out of contract in the summer.

United look set to seal the signing of Nigel de Jong, after offering him a £4 million-a-year deal, says The Metro.

Talks are believed to be at an advanced stage and United are hopeful of getting this one sewn up swiftly.

And finally, according to reports in Spain, Victor Valdes is likely to leave United because current No 1 David De Gea will remain with the Premier League side.

Spanish newspaper Marca has reported that Valdes has a chance to join French champions PSG in the summer transfer window.
