02 de noviembre de 2012, 00:01Caracas, Nov 2 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela''s attraction as a leisure destination is a part of the Venezuelan proposal at the International Tourism Fair of Latin America (FIT) being held in Buenos Aires (Argentina) from November 3 to 6, said official sources here today.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, the country will have a booth at the event where it will exhibit its natural and patrimonial beauties, especially the product called "Sun and Beach."

The group's presence at the fair is meant to reinforce trade relations, taking into account that Argentina is one from the main sources of visitors to this market with 37,916 visitors in 2011.

Similarly, it expects to establish agreements with publishing agencies, transportation companies and mass media, with the purpose of expanding awareness of the national campaign: "Venezuela: Getting to Know it is Your Destiny."

The strategies will be framed in promoting the destinations of Sun and Beach such as Margarita Island, Los Roques, Morrocoy National Park and Puerto La Cruz, among others.

The FIT has become one from the most important tourism fairs at the world level, due to the high demand from exhibitors and visitors year after year.

Venezuela's delegation will be accompanied by a dozen national tour operators, among them Venetur, Hotel Palm Beach, Hover Tours C. A., Unitravel, Sunsol Hotels, Aremar Tours, BT Travel, Ovoly and Hotel Costa Caribbean.
