Valencia have confirmed Ever Banega has become the latest player to leave the club, joining Newell's Old Boys on loan until the summer.
The Argentina international has found first-team opportunities hard to come by at the Mestalla this season, despite a change in management towards the end of last year.
Manager Juan Antonio Pizzi seems to have made it clear to the 25-year-old he has no future at the club and he has now returned to his homeland to link up with Newell's Old Boys until the end of the season.
Banega's departure was just one of many deals completed by Valencia on transfer deadline-day, with Los Che also allowing Sergio Canales to join Real Sociedad.
Valencia have added to their defensive options with the signing of Philippe Senderos from Fulham on loan, while Brazilian striker Vinicius Araujo completed his move from Cruzeiro before the transfer window shut.
