The Magpies looked set to sign Siqueira on a loan deal until the end of the season, but the deal for the 29-year-old Brazilian fell through after he failed to turn up for his medical on Saturday.
And it has been suggested that Siqueria has instead decided to join Gary Neville's Valencia after passing a test in Spain and agreeing an 18-month deal.
However, according to Spanish website Football Espana, Siqueira's proposed move will facilitate the departure of Orban to Newcastle.
