YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 29, ARMENPRESS. A cultural center will be opened in the Embassy of Argentina in Armenia until the end of the current year. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina to Armenia Gonzalo Urriolabeitia told the aforementioned to “Armenpress” journalist.
“We aim to open a cultural center in the embassy. We have an area that is not used, we have renovated it. We will present Argentinean films, invite musicians, organize tango classes. It will be very interesting. We know that the people of Armenia like our music, wine, food. I hope it will be a success,” Ambassador informed.
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Argentine Republic started on January 17, 1992. The Embassy of Armenia has been operating in Buenos Aires since 1993. Argentina recognized the Armenian Genocide in 2007.
