THE 30-member Telecom Fiji Warriors squad will be trimmed down to 28 next week for their Uruguay tour where the side will play the Uruguay and Argentina national teams.
Speaking to Times Sports, Fiji Warriors coach Senirusi Seruvakula said the players had to give their best to be included in the final squad.
"This is the opportune time for the players to prove themselves and get into the team as we are preparing the future Flying Fijians.
"Players from this team will be playing in the 15s and 7s code so for the boys to shine they need to work hard now.
"Even some might get overseas contract from this tour," Seruvakula said.
The former Vatukoula coach said playing teams with the calibre of Uruguay and Argentina would not be an easy task for the Fijians.
"Playing those teams will not be easy while at the same time it will be a good game for us looking at the exposure and the experience the players will be getting," Seruvakula added.
The team departs for Uruguay on May 18.
