Wallabies stick tight despite big defeat

Wallabies playmaker Christian Lealiifano is adamant the team remains unified despite their poor start under new coach Ewen McKenzie.

Saturday's 38-12 loss to South Africa was the Wallabies' fourth straight defeat and third since McKenzie took over as coach.

The pressure is building on the team ahead of Saturday night's Test against Argentina in Perth.

Australia haven't lost to Argentina since 1997 and Lealiifano says the team remains upbeat despite their horrible start to the Rugby Championship.

"The boys are really tight," Lealiifano said in Perth on Monday.

"It's tough when you're not getting the results. Everyone sort of looks back on the team culture and thinks that it might take a bit of a hit.

"But the boys are really sticking tight and not much is fazing us. We've just got to look after our own game and hopefully produce the results."
