Unbeaten Fiji to meet Australia in Cup quarter-final

Update: 6:00PM South Africa, Fiji, New Zealand and Argentina are through to the Cup quarter finals as top seeds at the Cell C Nelson Mandela Bay Sevens in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, round three of the HSBC Sevens World Series.

Defending champions and hosts South Africa impressed on the opening day of the Cell C Nelson Mandela Bay Sevens, as last week's Dubai champions won all three of their matches against USA, Kenya and Wales.

Cecil Afrika became the Blitzboks' all-time leading points scorer in the process, overtaking Fabian Juries with his try against Wales, while Seabelo Senatla scored six tries to continue his presence on top of the try-scoring charts this season and they will face England in the Cup quarter finals on day two.

New Zealand came out on top of Pool D, beating Samoa, Japan and England 5-0 in an enthralling encounter thanks to Joe Webber's try, the current Series champions will now play the USA who will appear in their first Cup quarter final of the season.

Current Series leaders Fiji await Australia in a repeat of the Dubai Sevens Cup semi finals while Argentina play Scotland in the other two quarter finals.
