If any Arsenal fans are planning on signing 'There's only one Higuain' if he lights up the Emirates next season - they may just be technically incorrect.
A man who has a statue outside the stadium, Thierry Henry, will attest to the talent of 28-year-old striker Federico Higuain.
This Higuain is not as illustrious and well-known as his brother Gonzalo, he plays presently for Colombus Crew in Major League Soccer.
"Honestly, it doesn’t bother me that people want to talk about Gonzalo all the time, I don’t feel any bitterness. I have the pleasure of doing a job that I love and bearing a name that symbolises honesty and hard work," he recently told FIFA.
Federico is playing in his fourth country of his career, one which at a glance appears one of a journeyman, but on closer inspection there is clear talent in his locker.
He began his career at River Plate in signing professional in 2003, but only ever made five appearances for them. Instead he was loaned out to Argentine second-tier side Nueva Chicago where he signed 29 goals across two seasons.
This earned him a move to Turkey with Besiktas who paid £1.4 million for him in 2007. It was a gamble by the European club, and sadly one which did not pay off, scoring just two goals before being loaned to Mexican side Club America.
He failed to settle and returned to Argentina with Independiente on a free transfer, but scored just one goal in a miserable season with the club.
This led him to Godoy Cruz where he bagged 11 goals and a switch to Colon, where he netted another 10, and the interests of MLS side Colombus Crew.
After lengthy negotiations between the clubs, the Americans announced his signing for £400,000 in 2012 and it has been one which has had mutual benefit.
Not that goals and strike rates are hugely important to the player, "I don’t always consider myself to be a forward, of course I try to operate as much as possible in the danger zone and to take part in attacks. But my priority is not to score goals; for me, that’s an occasional thing."
He was described as a 'fast and skilful player' who would add another dimension to Colombus Crew, and he has done just that.
After signing he helped boost the side's play-off hopes, scoring five goals and providing assists for seven others in a 13-game stretch which dazzled fans.
It was enough to win him the coveted MLS Newcomer of the Year Award, won back in 2008 by former Norwich City and Coventry City forward Darren Huckerby of the San Jose Earthquakes.
This season he has continued his fine form, scoring five goals and providing four others, including a penalty against Thierry Henry's New York Red Bulls in a 2-2 draw just under a month ago, a match in which Arsenal's record goalscorer also netted.
He attributes his footballing characteristics to his time growing up: "I developed a desire to win growing up alongside Gonzalo and my other brothers. It explains the fighting spirit I have out on the pitch."
His brother Gonzalo is at the centre of a £22 million tug of war for his signature at present and may just end up in North London. While that will create hundreds of headlines, the career of Federico Higuain is certainly worth a mention.
