Real Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli has admitted he has had an "incredible week" following his first Argentina call-up.
The 22-year-old has been in fine form for Sociedad since displacing Enaut Zubikarai as the club's first-choice goalkeeper and was consequently rewarded with an invitation for the upcoming international friendlies against El Salvador and Ecuador by national team coach Gerardo Martino.
"It has been an incredible week for me," the shot stopper told Goal.
"First there was the call-up for the national team and then the Liga win over Getafe.
"I am feeling very confident at Sociedad and I feel that my team-mates trust in me. I feel very comfortable here and that has helped me perform at the level I want to reach. I am very grateful to Sociedad."
Rulli joined the Basque outfit on a one-year loan deal from Deportivo Maldonado at the start of the season, but it is unsure as of yet where he will ply his trade next term.
"I am here at Sociedad now and I am very happy here. I hope that I will be able to continue here.
"But if I think about the future too much, it could affect my performances now and that is the last thing I want."
Rulli has kept four clean sheets in 12 Liga outings for Sociedad so far.
