RUGBY LA VILA NEWS.

First league win for Rugby La Vila, last Sunday 14th September, against a strong Hospitalet side by 29-12. Good attendance, despite it being very warm.
Spectators were comfortable under covered stands, They enjoyed two new beers that we now have in our bar, Amstel and Radler Sandy beer
New players debut. Miguel Angel Ponce, prop from Malaga. Damian Jurado, center from Granada. Gaston de la Cruz, second row from Argentina. Duncan Tout, center from England, Manuel Villalobos, prop from Valladolid, Atilo Cebran, center from Argentina and Juan Cobelo, Second row from Argentina
Next week, the first team will travel to Barcelona to play aginst Poble Nou.
Next home game will be Sunday 28th September, at 12.00 against Sitges from Barcelona. Don’t miss out
First touring side will be Waethley Hills, we will play them Sunday 5th October, at 12.30, Free entrance
The second team will start to play Saturday 18th October. Still time to join the club, train and play for second team. They play locally at the Alicante level, so no long journeys, only local to Denia, Alicante, Elche, Torrevieja. New Players are welcome. Ficha will be 200 euros per season, included insurance and travel expenses
The Club also run women’s rugby and U18, U16, U14, U12, U10 and U8 teams. Training has already started.
We also have a well equipped Gym. Members have free use. Come and join Rugby La Vila
Anyone wishing to come along will find La Vila Rugby Club is situated at Carretera Pantano, Villajoyosa. Just take the motorway AP-7 exit Nº 66 (Villajoyosa).
At the first roundabout head for the mountain.
It is about 1 km from Motorway exit nº 66. Or take the Villajoyosa by-pass, and take the middle exit, at the first roundabout, bare right towards the motorway entrance and at the second roundabout bare left towards the mountain.
