Dan Carter appears on track to make his return to the All Blacks in their Rugby Championship test against Argentina next weekend in Hamilton.
The Crusaders first five missed the first two tests against Australia with a calf injury.
Coach Steve Hansen says Carter looks as though he'll be fit at this stage, but it's not such good news for two of their forwards.
He says Carter appears to be fit but they'll get a good look at him at training early in the week.
Hansen says Liam Messam and Owen Franks won't play.
Messam has been carrying a hamstring injury, while prop Owen Franks has a groin injury.
