Rugby: All Blacks lock up Rugby Championship

The All Blacks have locked away the Rugby Championship for another year, with a 34-13 victory over Argentina in La Plata.

After a dominant first half, the All Blacks led 20-6 at halftime, courtesy of tries to Ben Smith and Israel Dagg.

Winger Julian Savea had a try disallowed in the 54th minute due to offside, but he was able to make amends in the 57th minute when he crossed over.

The Rugby Championship title was locked away with the All Blacks' fourth and bonus point try scored by TJ Perenara.

Argentina finished showing some of their flair when Horacio Agulla scored a late consolation try.

All Blacks captain Richie McCaw says he's pleased with the performance.

"I was really proud of the way the guys took our opportunities. The Pumas, they came to play as well.

"I think it was a pretty good game to watch from a spectator's point of view, but I'm just proud of our guys we took our chances."

The All Blacks now head to South Africa without the pressure of having to play for the Rugby Championship trophy.
