Former Brazilian player Roberto Carlos thinks for this year’s Ballon D’Or, Cristiano Ronaldo from his own former club Real Madrid is more worthy than Lionel Messi from Barcelona and Argentina.
FIFA and France newspaper combined gives out FIFA Ballon d’Or award every year and in this year’s short list with Cristiano Ronaldo the other two players are Lione Messi from Barcelona and Argentina while the last one is Bayern Munich and Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. however Carlos thinks Ronaldo is ahead of Messi in this year’s competition.
He said – “I am big fan of Leo but Cristiano is more amazing.”
He also added – ” Ronaldo is in tremendous form. What ever he does is going right for him. He is a leader.” then he adds – ” I am not saying this cause he plays at Real Madrid.”
Carlos didn’t forget to praise Messi either. but for this years Ballon d’Or Ronaldo is his choice over Messi.
He said about Messi – ” Leo is extra-ordinary. What ever he does is wort watching. but we have to pick this years best player and that was Ronaldo.”
FIFA Ballon d’Or award will be given on 12th January.
This award is given by the votes of Coaches and Captains of national Teams. Some chosen reporter from France news-paper are also voting here.
