River Plate stun Boca, Arsenal win

River Plate claimed the bragging rights in the superclásico as Ramiro Mori's strike four minutes from time gave them a 2-1 victory at fierce rivals Boca Juniors. The visitors took the lead just before the hour mark through Manuel Lanzini although veteran midfielder Juan Riquelme sent Boca fans into raptures by levelling in the 68th minute.

However, it would be River Plate who had the last laugh as Mori struck in the 86th minute to move his side up to fourth in the standings, just a point behind Colon Santa Fe, who suffered their second defeat of the season in a 1-0 loss at lowly Arsenal Sarandi.

The hosts had sat bottom of the standings at the beginning of the day but they climbed above Racing Club and Quilmes thanks to substitute Milton Caraglio's 67th-minute strike. Defeat for Colon Santa Fe means they now top the standings by just one point ahead of Velez Sarsfield, Estudiantes and River Plate.

Emmanuel Mas' last-gasp strike earned San Lorenzo a 2-2 draw at Tigre. San Lorenzo had taken a fifth-minute lead through Angel Correa, and although Tigre hit back and appeared on course for victory after second-half goals from Matias Perez Garcia and Ariel Nahuelpan, the visitors claimed a share of the spoils thanks to Mas' late leveller.

Second-half strikes from Victor Ayala and Carlos Izquierdoz helped Lanus edge to a 2-1 win over Rosario Central, who had levelled through Federico Carrizo.
