West Ham are considering making a bid to bring Carlos Tevez back to the club after the striker revealed he doesn’t expect to stay at Juventus beyond his current contract, reports the Daily Mail.

The 30-year-old’s current deal at Juventus expires in 2016, but he has opened the door for a return to the Premier League with his recent admission.

The Argentina international’s first taste of football in England came at West Ham, who he joined in a surprise move in 2006 along with international teammate Javier Mascherano.

Tevez’s displays up front proved instrumental in West Ham avoiding relegation that season, but he joined Manchester United after just one year at Upton Park.

His determination and skill made him a firm favourite with West Ham fans, and the club could make a serious effort to sign him ahead of their move to the Olympic Stadium.

Tevez has scored ten goals in Serie A this season, and he has helped Juventus to win two consecutive league titles.

Tevez has 52% shot accuracy in Serie A this season.
