Playboy Argentina will carry on printing pictures of naked women, despite a dictate from high command that the magazine should cover up.
Last week the magazine announced fully naked women would no longer feature, in a decision backed by octogenarian founder Hugh Hefner.
But it seems not everyone has been seduced by the new editorial direction.
Playboy Argentina said: ‘Just like the interviews, blogs, investigations and latest news in lifestyle and culture, the naked women will be staying on in our publication.’

They confirmed the decision in a tweet:
Hola a todos! Al menos por el momento, Playboy Argentina seguirá publicando desnudos y el resto de sus contenidos habituales.

According to our amateur translation, this means:
Hello everyone! At least for now, we will continue to publish nude Playboy Argentina and the rest of its usual contents.
While sites like Pornhub made millions giving people nudity with just a click, Playboy’s circulation plummeted from 5.6 million in the 1970s to the current 800,000 official figure.
Chief executive Scott Flanders said the internet has left pornographic magazines outdated. ‘You’re now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free. And so it’s just passe at this juncture,’ he said.
He wants the magazine to change direction and bring back the hard hitting interviews that used to grace its pages, for example with the likes of Martin Luther King Jr.
The magazine is catching up with the website which has already banned nudity, partly to gain access to Facebook and Twitter.
But Playboy Argentina are standing firm and have been given the go-ahead by the American HQ to continue their traditions.
Their December issue will feature Ayelen Paleo on the front page as well as an interview with journalist Agustina Kampfer.
So if you can’t live without your centrefold just go to Buenos Aires.
…Or it’s probably on the internet somewhere anyway.
