Paris Saint-Germain midfielder rubbishes Roma link

Pastore PSGParis Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore has denied claims that he’ll be making a return to Serie A.

The Argentina international spent two seasons with Palermo before making a big-money move to the Ligue 1 winners during the 2011 summer transfer market and has been rently linked with a return to Italy with Roma being amongst the suitors.

“All rumours linking me with any kind of move are totally false,” the 24-year-old stated to reporters.

“I’ve said before that I’m very happy here at PSG and I’m not going anywhere. I do go back to visit Italy, but not for football purposes–I’m only in the country to visit friends, but nothing more.”

Pastore was recently spotted in the Italian capital recently leading to speculation that Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini, who had brought him to Palermo, would be considering making a move to bring him back to Italian football’s top flight.

“Yes, it’s true I was in Rome recently, but I was only there on a casual visit with my wife. I’m definitely staying put in Paris.”
