Newcastle United's on-loan ace Adam Armstrong has been compared to Manchester City and Argentina striker Sergio Aguero.
The in-form forward scored twice for Coventry City last night in their 4-3 win against Barnsley to take his tally for the season to 12.
His stunning form for the League One side, which includes successive braces, has seen his new teammate Joe Cole heap praise on the youngster - with Armstrong tipped to make an impact at the highest level.
The 33-year-old ex-Chelsea, Liverpool and England midfielder, who is on-loan at Coventry from Aston Villa, has compared Armstrong to Premier League ace Aguero.
"I've come here to help the team and I'm excited to play with young players and help them develop on and off the pitch," said Cole.
"Armstrong reminds me of Aguero in a way, he's of the build and he's hungry for goals.
"In a lovely way he's selfish for goals and has the ingredients to be a top player and go on to score many more goals.”
Armstrong's form has led to some calls for the 18-year-old to be recalled by Newcastle to help solve their lack of goals, while other fans have claimed Armstrong should be left at the League One club to ply his trade.
