NANTES: Newly-promoted French Ligue 1 side Nantes have signed Venezuela centre-back Oswaldo Vizcarrondo on a three-year deal, the club announced Wednesday.
The towering defender, 29, joins from Mexico's Club America, although he spent last season on loan at Argentina's Atletico Lanus.
Vizcarrondo has played 45 times for his country and won the Venezuelan title four times with FC Caracas, while also tasting title success in Colombia with Once Caldas in 2010.
