Rabat – A few hours in Morocco were all it took for Argentina’s President, Cristina Fernandez de Kishner, to fall in love with the country and its culture.
The Argentinian President said on her Facebook account, “Morocco is a fascinating country with an exquisite cultural identity.” The comment came after a stopover in Morocco on Saturday on her way to China, where the de Kishner is due to pay an official visit.
De Kishner described the hospitable way she was welcomed in Morocco: “We arrived in Morocco at 10:30 local time. As always, the hospitality and friendliness is a distinctive sign of Morocco. At the foot of the plane, two Moroccans with traditional costumes welcomed me with dates and cow’s milk with drops of orange blossom.”
The Argentinian President won the hearts of hundreds of millions of Muslims around the world for her defense of the Palestinians and her criticism of the illegal policies of Israel regarding the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
