Lionel Messi has arrived in Argentina as he looks to properly recuperate from the hamstring injury that will keep him out until the New Year.
The Barcelona record-breaker has been allowed to return to his home country during the festive period after pulling his hamstring against Real Betis earlier this month.
The forward is expected to be back in time for the game with Atletico Madrid in January, but first he will try and recover back home in Argentina.
Posting on his official Instagram page, Messi wrote: “In Argentina already. I am getting ready for my recovery. #Argentina #workhard.”
