In a Monday meeting with ambassadors and representatives from Latin American countries (Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba, Uruguay, Bolivi, Ecuador, Argentina and Nicaragua), Majid Takht-Ravanchi highlighted the important opportunities raised due to the changes in the global community and economic capacities, and stressed countries must pave the way for expanding relations and boosting cooperation.
Discussing the latest status of Iran’s nuclear negotiations, Takht-Ravanchi asserted all sanctions must be lifted concurrent with Iran’s implementation of its obligations, adding “presently, a serious discussion is going on among Iran’s community in regard to the nuclear talks and our people are following these issues with precision and keenness.”
Latin American ambassadors, for their parts, deemed Iran and 5+1 negotiations significant and historic, and assessed the recent rounds of talks in the Swiss city of Lausanne as successful.
