Manchester United look to have missed out on Argentine international midfielder Ever Banega, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 27-year old skilful playmaker had been linked with a move to Old Trafford, with his contract running down in Seville.
He joined the club in 2014 after leaving Valencia, having failed to settle with Los Che following his €20m from Argentina.
However, there are a number of reports suggesting the former Boca Juniors man has agreed terms with Inter Milan ahead of a summer switch to the San Siro.
The Daily Mirror cite Italian news outlet Gazzetta, who claim Roberto Mancini has secured the Argentine’s services.
Respected Italian football journalist Tancredi Palmeri has also claimed the agreement is in place, with Banega free to negotiate with foreign clubs due to his contract situation.
