Four districts dominate Argentina’s internet market

The four largest districts in terms of residential internet connections in Argentina by the end of the fourth quarter were Buenos Aires greater area, Cordoba, Santa Fe and Mendoza.
In Buenos Aires greater area, the number of broadband connections by end-Q4 was 7.72mn, up 5.3 percent year-on-year. Cordoba ended the year with 1.55 million internet connections, up 14.3 percent year-on-year. Santa Fe and Mendoza ended the period with 1.06 million and 521,608 connections, representing an increase of 5.1 percent and 20.4 percent respectively.

Formosa, Santa Cruz, Catamarca and Tierra del Fuego had the lowest number of residential internet connections by the end of 2014, according to Indec's connectivity report.
