‘Exchange rate still competitive,’ Anses boss

The head of the ANSES social security agency, Diego Bossio, said that Argentina “has no flaw” of competitiveness because of the official exchange rate, and estimated that the government’s whitewashing plan “will boost the construction industry.”

"The exchange rate is still competitive no matter how you measure it, not to mention the competitive developments that have occurred in recent years in Argentina while the rest of the world is in a very critical situation. But Argentina has taken a political decision of defending employment”, Bossio told Tiempo Argentino newspaper.
