Joel Tomkins has another chance to show what he has to offer ahead of the
return from injury of Manu Tuilagi next month. Gloucester’s outside Henry
Trinder has been plagued by niggles over the last few weeks and has not been
able to press his case. Tomkins had an ok debut last weekend. He will want
to improve on that.
As will so many others. England need to up the ante if they are to be in shape
to take on the All Blacks the following week.
