Echenique, Dominguez win in Argentina

Buenos Aires, Argentina (SportsNetwork.com) - Rafa Echenique and Emilio Dominguez combined to fire a 9-under 62 on Sunday and they won the Bridgestone America's Golf Cup by one stroke.

Dominguez made eagle at the par-5 18th to get the Argentine duo to 38-under- par 246 at Olivos Golf Club.

Americans Robert Rohanna and Daniel Mazziotta shared the lead with the Argentines entering the final round, and they birdied the last to end one back at minus-37 after a final-round 63.

Dominguez and Echenique birdied three of the first four holes. They also birdied the ninth to make the turn with a 1-stroke lead. Mazziotta and Rohanna had birdies on the second, fifth and ninth.

The Americans birdied the 11th to tie it up at 34-under. Both teams birdied the 12th, then the Argentines made it two in a row with a birdie at 13. They also birdied the 15th.

Birdies at 14 and 16 by the American team gave them a share of the lead at 36- under. Dominguez made eagle at 18 to give the Argentinean duo a 1-shot win as the Americans made birdie.

Armando Zarlenga and Maximiliano Godoy also fired a 62 to take third at 34- under 250. Jordan Russell and Brad Hopfinger closed with a 64 and ended in fourth at minus-33.
