Youth Soccer News: Former Pro Terry Diego Become News Director of Coaching @ Chula Vista Rangers Soccer Club
The Chula Vista Rangers Soccer Club has announced former San Diego Sockers and La Raza de Monterrey player Diego Terry is the new Director of Coaching for the youth soccer club. Diego Terry will partner with Goalkeeper Trainer Ramon J.Ganelon Annichino to oversee player and coach development.
Many youth soccer players know Diego as the head coach of FC Force San Diego, assistant coach for the Boys Varsity Soccer Team at Mater Dei Catholic High School in Chula Vista, and creator and owner of Diegol, Teaching the Best of Soccer School and Buenos Aires Soccer Tours.
Former professional soccer player Diego Terry played indoor, futsal and outdoor soccer professionally for 10 years before retiring back in 2000.
He played for Racing Club and Ateneo Popular Versailles in Argentina and won the National Tournament for Argentina Futsal and he was also selected for the Argentina Futsal National Team. The Argentina national Futsal team has qualified and participated in all seven FIFA Futsal World Championship Tournaments.
Diego also was a prominent player on the famed Sockers and scored what is considered as one of the best goals in the San Diego Sockers history back in 1995 when Brian Quinn was head coach.
As a soccer coach, Diego has earned a lot of recognition and received the “Best Coach” Award for three years by the Torneo Nacional de Futbol rapido in 2005, 2007 and 2008. He was also a former Head Coach for the Revolucion Tijuana, Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL) team 2010-2011.
A new Director of Coaching marks a new beginning for the Chula Vista Rangers Soccer Club which was launched in 1995 and has over six hundred youth soccer players. Fernando Aparicio, President of the Chula Vista Rangers said, “We are excited to have Diego Terry as our new Director or Coaching. Not only is he a respected player/coach but he has a proven track record and is eager to start training our coaches and players”.

Diego currently lives in San Diego with his wife, Claudia, and two children, Sadie Blue and Jude.
