CONMEBOL: October 21, 2014 - The Uruguayans will host their rival at a disadvantage since losing
their previous game 2-1 in the first game of the series in the City of
La Plata 62km south of Buenos Aires.
The teams is led by Jorge Fosatti and are betting all they have in
the 2014s Copa Total Sudamericana since they fell 8 points behind the
leader of the Uruguayan tournament by losing this past weekend 2-1
against Uruguays Wanderers which puts at an unreachable distance to the
top.
For their part, Argentinas Estudiantes are also crawling to move on
to the quarterfinals for the 2014s Copa Total Sudamericana as their
only current hope, since ending in a 1-1 draw in their local Argentinean
tournament against Banfield, and leaving them 11 points behind
Argentinas River Plate who stands as the current leader.
The winner of this series will face either Argentinas River Plate
or Paraguays Libertad during the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Argentinas River Plate will host the game with everything in their
favor against Paraguays Libertad who is searching for a heroic
performance in the second leg of this series of the 2014s Copa Total
Sudamericana.
The River Plate team already secured a valuable 3-1 win in the first
leg in Asuncin, so they will move on the next phase of the tournament
even if they lose 2-0 at their home Monumental Stadium this time around.
Paraguays Libertad is forced to win by a three goal margin if they
are to eliminate River Plate and move on, but they are facing a team
that both in their local tournament and in this Copa Total Sudamericana
seems to be making all the perfect plays to win.
In the quarterfinals, the winner of this series will face the winner
of the series between Argentinas Estudiantes and Uruguays Pearol
