Argie Claudio Yacob is loving life at West Bromwich Albion.
Yacob, 25, will come face to face with Carlos Tevez today, a year after the Manchester City striker fled to Argentina with his homesick family, claiming his life in England had become a nightmare.
He told The Sun: “English football is the most famous football and the best in the world.
“When I was a child I’d listen to English games on the radio with my dad, Hugo.
“It’s every kid in Argentina’s dream to play in England and it’s a privilege to be here. I’m very happy and my family are very happy too. I want to stay in England for as long as possible.
“What I like most about England is the people respect each other here.
“It’s very impressive when you come from South America, when someone is crossing the road and you stop the car for them. That wouldn’t happen back home, they would just carry on driving.”
