A Chinese-run supermarket was set ablaze by gangsters on Feb. 26 in Pergamino in the Province of Buenos Aires amid a series of arson attacks on Chinese shops, the Chinese News Service reported.
Two unidentified people shot out the supermarket's window, and threw a gasoline bomb inside before fleeing in a car, CCTV footage showed.
The case is under investigation. The Chinese Argentine community is one of the fastest growing expatriate groups in the country, with about 120,000 people recorded in 2010.
