CFK arrives in Argentina after visit to China

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner has arrived in Argentina following her official visit to China, San Antonio de Areco Mayor Francisco Durañona, who was part of her entourage, informed.

During her three-day visit the head of State met with top Chinese businessmen and with China’s President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Keqiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhang Dejiang.

Twenty-two new bilateral agreements that dealt with communications, culture, nuclear energy and aerospace technology were signed to boost the strategic alliance.

“During the return trip we discussed the importance of the agreements signed,” Durañona said, adding the trip took “a very long time” as the official airplane Tango 01 needed to land “every eight hours” for fuelling.
