Year after Once train crash, Argentine anger still seethes

Paolo Menghini's t-shirt bears the face of his son, Lucas, a victim of one of Argentina's deadliest train accidents, which occurred a year ago today. The crash at Once train station in Buenos Aires killed a total of 51 people, and will be commemorated this evening by the victims' families, led by Mr. Menghini. Argentine Senate approves AMIA probe pact with Iran

BUENOS AIRES - Argentina's Senate approved on Thursday an agreement with Iran to set up an international "truth commission" to investigate the 1994 bombing of a Jewish center in Buenos Aires that killed 85 people.The two governments reached the agreement last month on how to deal with the attack in which Argentine court authorities have accused Iranian officials, including the defense minister, of involvement. Exports in January totaled $5.67 billion, down from $5.91 billion a year earlier, national statistics agency Indec reported Thursday.
