On the top of his Twitter profile, Carlos Tévez has a picture of himself that appears on a side of a building in his homeland. He's not wearing a Juventus jersey, a Boca Juniors jersey, or any other club team's jersey. He's rocking the sky blue and white stripes of the Argentina back when he had the blasted out perm kind of hairstyle.
But Tévez hasn't even been in consideration to wear that jersey over the last three-plus years. For whatever reason — personal, supposedly tactical, likely stupidity — Tévez didn't even sniff any kind of Argentina national team (World Cup or otherwise) roster because of former manager Alejandro Sabella.
Until Tuesday, that is.

You'll see two Juventus players on that list. One is Roberto Pereyra, the other is Carlos Tévez.
No, really. Tévez and Argentina, reunited again.
Tévez's three-year absence away from his beloved national team is over. With Sabella no longer in charge of La Albiceleste, the likelihood of Tévez even getting considered improved substantially. He wasn't called up for the last set of international games three weeks ago even though he was scoring at an absolutely absurd rate of over one goal a game. But this time, even though he's cooled off goal-scoring-wise, Tévez is back on the big stage internationally.
Not a bad thing to a happen to a guy who has been one of the best strikers in Europe ever since he put on the No. 10 Juventus jersey 16 months ago. (Thanks again for that one, Manchester City. We'll always love you for that transaction — and only that.)
