Islamabad: Minister of State for the Capital Administration and Development Division Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary has praised Ambassador of Argentina Rodolfo Martin Saravia for his contributions to the improvement of Pakistan’s healthcare and educational systems.
The minister said this during a meeting with the envoy, who called on him at the ministry.
During the meeting, matters related to bilateral interests came under discussion.
The CADD minister said the Argentinean ambassador was held in high esteem for his initiatives in Pakistan’s health and education sectors, and Islamabad’s beautification.
He also praised the envoy for continuously advocating the proposed extension of Islamabad’s Polyclinic Hospital for which his country had offered the land of the adjoining Argentina Park. “Polyclinic has to pay Rs44.848 million to the Capital Development Authority for the transfer of the Argentina Park’s land. Of it, Rs5 million has already been released to the CDA through the AGPR, while the rest is to be released shortly through re-appropriation. The Argentina Park’s land will be formally given in the possession of Polyclinic administration on full payment of the amount,” he said.
