Young Kiwi duo Peter Burling and Blair Tuke continued their dominance of world sailing, winning the South American Championships in Argentina.
The pair were third heading into the final day of the four-day regatta in Buenos Airies trailing by six points but managed three single-digit races to take the lead, eventually wrapping up 22 points clear of the field to clinch their 21st regatta win in a row.
"It is really nice to take the win," Burling said.
"We'd just unpacked a new boat and spent some time setting it up, one day on the water and then it was pretty much straight into the first race."
The win comes days before the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year is named with both Burling and Tuke among the five finalists up for the award.
In the women's 49erFX event, New Zealand's Alexandra Maloney and Molly Meech placed 5th overall.
