Brumbies chief executive Michael Jones has suggested the club will try to build their game around new signing Tomas Cubelli.
The half-back, who has made 45 appearances for Argentina and was a member of the squad that reached this year's Rugby World Cup semi-finals, signed on a two-year deal from Pampas.
Jones was enthused by Cubelli's arrival and thinks he will play a pivotal role in the forthcoming Super Rugby season.
"We see 2016 as being a very important season for us. It's a great opportunity for us to win the Super Rugby championship and Tomas is an integral and very key part of that plan," he said.
"The way he plays the game will fit in with us and our existing squad is something we’ve thought about a lot and we'll build a lot of our game around him. We're very fortunate to have him here."
Cubelli admitted he has been a long-term admirer of the Brumbies.
"I see [coming to Canberra] as a great opportunity," the Argentinian said.
"The Brumbies are a team with a lot of history, great players have worn this jersey and I'm really proud to be here.
"I used to watch the Brumbies and Super Rugby when I was a young guy in Argentina, I've been following the team a lot in recent seasons and I hope that next season we have a good team and can do well.
"I've always wanted to play against and alongside the best players every week. I think I'm at the right place to accomplish this."
