Bill O’Reilly Criticized by David Corn of Mother Jones, Resorts to Name Calling

Fox News Bill O’ Reilly tried putting the issue to an end by snapping back at David Corn of Mother Jones and the left-wing media in his ‘Talking Points Memo “releasing in advance of Friday edition of “the O’Reily Factor”.

Fox News got Corn to work on his Thursday report that tried to focus on O’Reilly’s “inconsistent” war recollections during his reports of wars in El Salvador and the Falkland Islands, which he reported from Argentina and Uruguay for CBS News.

O’Reilly mentioned several memos and correspondences between him and his bosses during his CBS time which tells how he was admired of his work from Buenos Aires while reporting on a was in the region.

Yet after relaying the information, he directs his anger with the left-wing media for its “political hit job”. Including calling Corn a “liar” and “a far left zealot”, and that Mother Jones is the “business to injure”.

“They knew Corn was trying to take the Brian Williams situation and wrap it around my neck for ideological reasons — because he has a history of attacking Fox News,” O’Reilly said. “Corn must think the folks are as dumb as he is.”

The host got all the time to defend himself in several interviews with media outlets since the story appeared but O’Reilly’s comments came Friday evening just after the host’s interviews.

Corn was also called “an irresponsible guttersnipe.” yet Corn remained unruffled as he continued to defend the story while O’Reilly kept denying it. Corn only wishes that O’Reilly would answer questions about specific statements instead of name calling.
