Angel Di María has moved to play down speculation linking him with an exit from Real Madrid amid reported interest from Arsenal.
The Argentina international was linked with a switch to the Gunners as well as their north London rivals Tottenham over the summer following Gareth Bale’s arrival at the club.
No I have not asked out. My head is at Real Madrid

However, Di María has since started 11 of Madrid’s La Liga games this season under new manager Carlo Ancelotti.
And the 25-year-old has played down the chances of him leaving Los Blancos in the forthcoming January transfer window, insisting he is happy at the club.
“I knew that a €100m (£86m) player was coming and he had to play,” said Di María.
“No I have not asked out. My head is at Real Madrid. You [the media] put that I was going to Tottenham or another club. You know where these reports come out.
“I’m happy at Real Madrid. I never asked for a [contract] renewal. A player who does not play cannot request a renewal.”
