Facundo Ferreyra scored a hat-trick as Velez Sarsfield claimed top spot of Argentina's Apertura with a 5-1 win at Arsenal Sarandi.
The Buenos Aires got off to the perfect start when Ferreyra gave them the lead inside two minutes. Lucas Pratto made it 2-0 eight minutes later, before Ferreyra doubled his account in the 25th minute.
Nicolas Aguirre pulled one back soon after but that was as close as Arsenal came, as the visitors pulled further clear in the second half with goals from Fernando Tobio and Ferreyra.
Elsewhere, Boca Juniors climbed to fourth, four points off the pace, with a 3-1 win over struggling San Lorenzo.
Leandro Paredes gave Boca a fifth minute lead, only for Matias Mirabaje to level within three minutes. However, Paredes restored Boca's lead 11 minutes before half-time and Rolando Schiavi extended the lead midway through the second half.
Bottom club Union Santa Fe are still winless, although they showed spirit to twice come from behind and earn a 2-2 draw against Estudiantes.
Duvan Zapata and Jonathan Schunke were on target for the visitors but Diego Jara and Federico Chiapello helped Union pick up only their fourth point of the campaign.
Argentinos Juniors and San Martin San Juan could not be separated, drawing 1-1.
Half-time substitute Sebastian Navarro netted within four minutes of his introduction for the home side but San Martin equalised just six minutes later
through Mauro Bogado to snatch a point.
