Argentina on track for increased peanut sales

ARGENTINA is expected to boost its peanut exports this year due to an anticipated 25% increase in its output, but this is not exerting downward pressure on prices.

The production estimate from the Cereals Board of Cordoba was based on information from the USDA and refers to the country's crop which was planted in October and November 2012, which is due to be harvested between April and June this year.
